Harp Lever Descriptions and Comparisons
Loveland Levers were designed by Robert Bunker in Colorado USA. The Loveland lever has a brass plate, black handle, and a black flip handle to sharpen. They are also available with gold handles, and now have the option of a long black handle as well.
Pro’s: have been around a long time, are tried and true, easy to use, aesthetically appealing due to progression in size from large in bass to small in treble, provides clear tone.
Con’s: bit trickier to regulate than a Jordan or Universal

Shop Loveland Levers
Jordan Levers are made of strong Acetal Copolymer black plastic. They are easy to install and one size fits all strings. It is a flip up cam lever and is an economical choice for smaller harps.
Universal levers are the same style as the Jordan but made of a solid cast metal so are much stronger and more durable. One size fits all strings.
Available in black or gold.
Pro’s: sturdy - flip up cam lever – one size fits all strings, maintains a clean, clear sound, easy to regulate, work well for wire and nylon strung harps.
Con’s: handles are a bit shorter and narrower than Loveland’s

Truitt levers were designed by Betty Truitt in the USA and are made of solid brass with 24K gold-plating. They are an excellent cam lever and have the unique option of heart shaped handles for C and F strings. Truitt levers are an excellent choice for Nylon or Wire strung harps.
Pro’s: nice long handles, option of heart shape on C & F for easier identification, superb and clear intonation, aesthetically appealing, very sturdy
Con’s: more expensive due to the gold-plate
